Kollisionen - Transdisciplinary subject of the UdK

Collisions 2024 is an interdisciplinary project week at UdK Berlin, taking place from Monday to Friday, January 8-12, 2024.

The Kollisions Project Week is a central transdisciplinary venue at the UdK Berlin. Students from different study programs as well as teachers collide during this week and work together on projects. The projects can be process- or product-oriented and serve to broaden and challenge horizons. The idea of UdK Kollisions is to provoke disorder and mutual infection, celebrating the creative potential of transdisciplinary exchange. It is about allowing the new and the third to emerge.

Kollisions are a playground of the imagination, a laboratory of the possible, and a platform for the improbable. They invite you to trust your sense of desire and whimsy and to deal with the immediate and the unknown.

Two professors or instructors from different disciplines develop a common theme or format for the KOLLISION and students engage in this experiment. At the end of the kollisions, there is a presentation of the results, where the students show each other what they have been working on during the week. The 2024 Kollisions projects will be presented individually on the website starting December 4. The archive of past kollision projects is also available on the website.

Registration for the projects will open on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 9am via the Moodle platform.
