After the success of the Hybrid Talks “Soundscape”, Alex Arteaga will join the speakers Barry Truax, Brigitte Schulte-Fortkamp and Stefan Weinzierl at the Sound Studies Program of the UdK Berlin for a continued dialogue. The aim is to deepen the question raised in the first event, incorporating the perspective of auditory architecture, which is a new approach on sound and the built environment developed at the Auditory Architecture Research Unit.
Participants:
- Dr. Alex Arteaga
UdK Berlin | Auditory Architecture Research Unit - Prof. Dr. Barry Truax
TU Berlin | Edgard Varèse Guest Professor of the DAAD
Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, Canada - Prof. Dr. Brigitte Schulte-Fortkamp
TU Berlin | Psychoacoustics and Noise Effects Group - Prof. Dr. Stefan Weinzierl
TU Berlin | Audio Communication Group
While the Hybrid Talks were organized around individual contributions, the format of this followup event will be a roundtable among the speakers and with the participants. We invite you all to this dialogue on soundscape and Klangumwelt.
