Hybrid Lab, TU Berlin, Marchstraße 8, 10587 Berlin
The idea of “learning” is omnipresent in the university setting, but in life outside of institutions of education and research humans learn as well. What exactly do we mean by the term “learning”? How can the process be assisted by means of specially designed learning spaces, digital tools and, of course, the use of the right pedagogical methods? Surreally cozy pillow rooms, algorithms for learning languages, a physical approach to learning and other concepts will be presented by representatives of the UdK and TU Berlin at the 32nd Hybrid Talks.
Following speakers will address the topic (lectures mainly in German language):
- "Simulation as method of and for learning within the vocational education of metal and electro-technical jobs"
Prof. Dr. Tanja Mansfeld
bbw Hochschule | Vocational Education and Training

Prof. Dr. Daniel Hromada
UdK Berlin | Digital Education

Prof. Dr. Ute Pinkert

The Hybrid Talks aim at promoting mutual inspiration and invite networking. Representatives of different disciplines encounter each other and share their perspectives on the topic “Learning” through short 10 minutes presentations. After the presentations we will continue our exchange across individual disciplines in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Hybrid Talks are a conversation format initiated by the Hybrid Plattform, a project platform of the Berlin University of the Arts and the Technische Universität Berlin. The platform serves the cross-disciplinary exchange of art, science and technology.
