Summer 2015 will mark the end of the four-year pilot phase of the Hybrid Plattform, the joint platform for inter- and transdisciplinary projects of the UdK Berlin and TU Berlin. The UdK Open Days is just the ideal occasion for a look back at the successful project work undertaken to date and to toast the Campus Charlottenburg’s hybrid future!
At the 18th Hybrid Talks experts from various disciplines will present their research and the results of selected Hybrid Projects. The thematic variety of transdisciplinary cooperation within the hybrid culture of the campus is made tangible in short presentations of ten to twelve minutes apiece.
There will be contributions by:

Prof. Burkhard Schmitz | UdK Berlin
Prof. Dr. Manfred Thüring | TU Berlin - "Machine for Sustainable Living"
Valentina Karga | UdK Berlin - "Rethinking Prototyping"

The Hybrid Talks are an invitation for mutual inspiration and networking. Exchange across disciplinary borderlines carries on in a relaxed atmosphere after the talks.
The 18th Hybrid Talks will take place as part of the “Rundgang – Open Days” of Berlin University of the Arts. Before and after the talks, you will have the opportunity to have a look at the open studios. For the Open Days the students offer exciting insights into the diverse fields of study, like architecture, fine arts, music, design, visual communication, acting, music theater, etc., at the various UdK locations.
