Candidate search for residency program “art, science & business” at Akademie Schloss Solitude

The Hybrid Plattform e.V. has been in cooperation with Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart since 2013. This public foundation has offered its interdisciplinary and international fellowship program for artists and researchers since 1990.

A part of the cooperation are residencies for UdK Berlin and TU Berlin researchers at the Akademie. Every year the program offers for up to two Hybrid Plattform researchers a studio at the Akademie free of charge for a period of three months. Grant payments are not provided; remuneration payments are handed by the sending organization. One-time travel expenses can be assumed by the Akademie.

There is particular interest in exchanges with engineers and natural scientists. This year, the Akademie is dedicating its “art, science & business” program to the main topic “authorship” – experts on this theme (also in technical or legal terms) are also encouraged to apply. The researchers may use the premises for their own research. A fortuitous outcome of the stay would be a joint event by the Akademie and the Hybrid Plattform on a topic of the selected researchers’ choosing. It is expected that they actively participate in academy life and get into contact with other fellowship recipients.

Currently we are again looking for fellowship candidates who would like to work at the Akademie for three months. A stay is possible from October to December 2015. We invite prospective researchers to apply by Monday, August 10, 2015, with a short CV and a description of the current work.
