Virtual reality (VR) creates imaginary worlds providing you amongst other the chance – with the right technology – to move around and act in connection with your body movements in real space. First attempts to live one’s whole life within a VR have already begun. The record is 28 days in VR. And VR technologies are becoming affordable enough for home use. But how will we use VR in the future? What potential do VR technologies have for art and research? How will perceptions of time-based media—like films—change, now that cuts will disappear? What will future exhibitions be like, when we can switch between the virtual and the real world at any time? Will products, services and architecture first be tested virtually before they’re created in reality?

The 23rd Hybrid Talks aim at promoting mutual inspiration and invite networking.
